Hey bloggers! woah. it’s been a while since I last signed into wordpress to type up a new blog. Apologies to all my affies – I haven’t exactly been active!

A weekend or so ago I flew to Dublin with my family to celebrate my Mum’s relatives 50th wedding anniversary.

Entertainment was provided by Nanna, who set the beeper off as we went through the security. We stayed in a best western which was Lush!!! I got off the plane thinking we were headed towards a tiny cottage!

As always something has to go wrong after a great day; and it did! Nanna and Grandad ended up having a shouting match whilst the rest of us awkwardly sat in silence along with the rest of the diners in the restaurant. It resulted in Nanna storming off to the Ladies’ followed by Mum, so when the food came I was the only girl left and therefore had to search for the toilets (in a massive hotel!) to tell them the food had arrived.

So when I finally found the toilets I was pretty impressed with myself – remember I’m the girl who’s sense of direction is none existent!

I walked straight in to find that it was empty. Strange? But as I walk out and see THIS

sign I realise why they weren’t in there. And to add to the uber embarrassment two men walk straight passed me (baring in mind i’m still stood INSIDE the mens loos staring at the front of the door) they both shared a look which was my queue to disappear. Embarrassing or what?!

The following day wasn’t any better either. I’d been sat on a chair after a boring day of watching my auntie try tons and tons of clothes on in Marks and Spencers and some how managed to set off a ruddy fire extinguisher whilst leaning on the edge of the chair where, unknown to me, the fire extinguisher was also. safe to say i fail at life Mortified, I had to get up and go and tell a member of staff, who called a cleaner to clean it all up.

At Dublin airport on the way back to Manchester, it was my turn to set off the beeper at the security check. Even though you know you aren’t a bomber, you feel as if you have to let everyone know your not, so I put on a guilty smile whilst being patted down by the scary security woman. bad times.

Hope you all have a lovely week off (if you are in fact off like me) and also a shout out to my best friend Bronagh, who’s birthday it was last week – HAPPY FOURTEENTH!

Then, to top the day off I was reminded of a certain project I’d just completely ignored for weeks. However, seeing as it is due on Wednesday and I tend to get alot of homework Monday and Tuesday night I decided to try and get most of it done today, so that I’m not too stressed out tomorrow.

I can’t believe how quick this two week holiday has been! Suppose this should force me into learning the lesson that you should never leave things to the last minute – although I know I’ll do the exact same next time.

Hopefully tonight, I can edit this blog confirming I’ve finished my project.. wishful thinking?

I will be sure to keep blogging this week and will pop on tomorrow morning on my new imac YAYY!

Finally holidays have arrived! I’m not too sure if I’ll be online much thoughmy family may be going to the lakes; oh the joy! Days and days of scrabble, monopoly and pointless walking.
I can’t moan too much though as I have been pretty lucky this week. Wednesday night I went with my Mum and Nanna to see Joseph and the technicoloured dream coat (which was fantastic!) and last night I went to see Dorian Gray (the ballet – not the film!) Admittedly it was a bit.. *ahem* raunchy? Suggestive? and I think I may have been the youngest person there. All in all though it was absolutely brilliant! Really interesting and completely different.

(NOTE: Sorry I’m changing the subject alot. Loads to tell! :D)
andddd in a few weeks I’m having a GERMAN GIRL STAY AT MY HOUSE! :O. and I’ve never met her. and she’s seventeen. and I don`t speak German. So yeah.. that’ll be fun. I’m not sure if I’m more scared or excited?! ahaha. More on that in another blog though ;)

Am I acting like a spoilt brat? Yesterday, while sat in a classroom I was asked to take something down to the office and I thought I’d be OK leaving my bags. Aparently not. When I got back, I sat back down and (for the sake of being nice one girl’s called Coffee and one tea. Because I dislike both :D) So coffee says to me
Coffee: “Lucy can I use your mirror?”
me: “Do I have one?”
Coffee: “Yeah, tea’s just looked in your handbag for me”
me: -stupid bi*ch- Oh. erm…
Tea: -embarassed- Coffee told me to…

The thing is, I don’t give a damn if she wanted my mirror or not. The thing that’s annoyed me is she went through my personal stuff while I wasn’t even there and didn’t even apologise for it. Am I being silly? Meh. Maybe I am.
