Germany’s comin to town, family holidays ++ rude people

Hello!! :)
(edit) CHANGES TO THE LAYOUT. Just to make it less boring :) and to add new colours. Admittedly, not nearly as nice. A change all the same though

Last blog I realise quite a few of you had no idea what Netball even was as some countries don’t play it. Sorry, that was stupid me just assuming you’d know :) For anyone that’s interested in reading more go to NetballAlso, I’ve got off my lazy bum and recently added two more pages:
Helen Burns of the www & Do a good deed.

Finally holidays have arrived! I’m not too sure if I’ll be online much thoughmy family may be going to the lakes; oh the joy! :| Days and days of scrabble, monopoly and pointless walking.
I can’t moan too much though as I have been pretty lucky this week. Wednesday night I went with my Mum and Nanna to see Joseph and the technicoloured dream coat (which was fantastic!) and last night I went to see Dorian Gray (the ballet – not the film!) Admittedly it was a bit.. *ahem* raunchy? Suggestive? and I think I may have been the youngest person there. All in all though it was absolutely brilliant! Really interesting and completely different.

(NOTE: Sorry I’m changing the subject alot. Loads to tell! :D)
andddd in a few weeks I’m having a GERMAN GIRL STAY AT MY HOUSE! :O. and I’ve never met her. and she’s seventeen. and I don`t speak German. :hmm: So yeah.. that’ll be fun. I’m not sure if I’m more scared or excited?! ahaha. More on that in another blog though ;)

Am I acting like a spoilt brat? Yesterday, while sat in a classroom I was asked to take something down to the office and I thought I’d be OK leaving my bags. Aparently not. When I got back, I sat back down and (for the sake of being nice one girl’s called Coffee and one tea. Because I dislike both :D) So coffee says to me
Coffee: “Lucy can I use your mirror?”
me: “Do I have one?”
Coffee: “Yeah, tea’s just looked in your handbag for me”
me: -stupid bi*ch- Oh. erm…
Tea: -embarassed- Coffee told me to…

The thing is, I don’t give a damn if she wanted my mirror or not. The thing that’s annoyed me is she went through my personal stuff while I wasn’t even there and didn’t even apologise for it. Am I being silly? Meh. Maybe I am.

QUESTION TIME:
1. Know any kick-ass German phrases? :)
2. What do you usually do on a family trip/holiday?
3. What’s your favourite Ben & Jerrys tub? :DD
Thanks for reading! and of course for the people that comment. You guys are fab!

Oooooh boy do I know what that’s like. I went with my dad to an opera house last year, and everyone there was like 40 and I was 14…. Good times ;)

Well even though you guys won’t be able to understand each other, it sounds pretty cool. :) But why do you have some random German chick staying at your house?

    1: Nope, sorry. :/
2: Oddly its the same every year. We all start playing games and then eventually we work our way to Monopoly and play for about an hour before someone gets angry and an argument breaks out… fun, fun, fun.
3: Strawberry Cheesecake orrrr Cookie Dough :D

Thats awesome that you’re having a german stay at your house!! I had one stay at my house last year when a german group came to our school for 2 weeks. I was sooo nervous but it was fun^^ AND i didn’t speak any german either. lol. Do you know what part of germany she is coming from??You have to tell me more more about sometime!!

You were not acting like a brat. I would have been kinda pissed if some people went through my stuff. Unless they’re my friends. But if i don’t like them…….

    1. Know any kick-ass German phrases? :)
hmm….this isn’t really a phrase but it made me think of when I was hanging out with all the german students, if someone burped everyone says schultz and the last person to say it gets hit on the forehead. I learned that the heard way. Apparently it came from some old game people use to play in pubs with drinking.

    2. What do you usually do on a family trip/holiday?
Usually if we just hang out and play games or all go to the movies.

    3. What’s your favourite Ben & Jerrys tub?
aha i don’t really eat ben& Jerrys to tell you the truth XD
