Honey I`m home!!!! :D
The Visitor page has been updated since this post!

I`ve gotta say, I don`t think I`ve missed my laptop this much in a long time! Thanks for those of you that left messages in my last blog, cheered me up quite a lot! Throughout the week I`ve been sneaking quickly onto my mobile internet but it costs a bomb! Seriously, I was way surprised when I checked my balance!

One thing I have realized on this holiday is that Lucy + crappy-breakable- shopping bags + steep hills do not mix well one bit.
And is it just me or are wasps taking over the friggin world?!?!?! All week there`s been millions! I mean, bees I can deal with. They aren`t going to sting unless they have a death wish… but no! Wasps just follow you around like some ruddy tough body builder. I had to give up my gorgeous chicken wrap because of it. I danced around for a while trying to get rid of the prick but then it got angry and I gave up… and let it demolish and poo all over my chicken wrap. I might be being just a tiny bit dramatic but you get the gist, hmm?

Though I do moan, I did overall enjoy the holiday :D
AND I`ve discovered a new way of entertaining myself! Listening to people`s accents!
Mostly I heard Welsh (really lucy?! You don`t say! Seeing as though it`s in WALES) Irish (oof! :P) and American which might have to take the prize.
Is it just me that loves doing this? MMM. probably is

I tried at one point to sound a bit different to my boring old Manchester accent and attempted a Scottish one. Oh god. What a failure. Susanna if you`re reading this I can just see your cringe as you know how bad it sounds :S

To end off the blog nicely  - and so it doesn`t go on forever I`ll leave you all some pictures! :)

We went to a really cute old fashioned ice cream parlour and bought some ice creams and honest to god they were massive!

Thought I`d try a new way of displaying pictures though I dunno how to give a description..

pic 1: Ice creams!

Pic 2: At the beach

pic 3: Boat – This was a really windy boat ride to Caldey Island.. God knows why I took it from this angle though! haaha

pic 4: Church window – We visited a cute little church on caldey island

pic 5: the church

pic 6: Found a poor man o war (I`m pretty sure that`s what it is) on the beach.

pic 7: Pembrook Castle!

pic 8: My brother and me at pembrook castle :)

pic 9: Two days before we left I visited a really cheap bookshop and bought two books!
‘The power of Dreams’ by Rosie Harris and ‘Act of Faith’ by Erica James which I really enjoyed and deffinately recommend! Both are very different

Hope you`re all well and thanks for reading! :D

30th August `09 [edit]

Hello! Just a quick note to tell you a blog will be up soon! I`ve been pretty busy getting ready for school on Tuesday (eek!:S) and have also been to the Dentist, Orthadontist, Opticians AND Hair dressers all in the space of four days. I`ve been through a traumatic time! :D hehehe [/edit]

Yes, Chicago! It was alright, pretty. I visited the lake of Michigan. It was really pretty. I also saw an airshow! It was fabulous! Really fab. _haha

I saw planes flying in the sky and stuff. And I also went to Minessota, which I liked more than Chicago for some odd reason. I saw the Mississipi river there and visited the mall of america (largest mall in America)

Awesome pictures! Glad you had fun on your vacation. I had an awesome time too. :)

Hey Lucyyy! If you prefer to be affiliated with my personal blogging help site, then you could. It’s http://toxic.paper-cranes.net.

If you want to change the link than feel free, I’ll add you on that site too, but if you want to keep it on Doxycide, that’s fine with me too. :)
